Libby Searle - Head Trainer

“I m an award-winning personal trainer and adult educator. I empower busy women to create sustainable exercise and nutrition habits to discover their body confidence, enjoy training in gym and stop yo-yo dieting for good! ”
I have worked in the fitness industry for 12 years; I am a Certified PT, Pre and Post Natal trainer and have my certificate in Adult Teaching and Tertiary Education. My Fitness/ Education qualifications, experience working with women and personal journey are what sets my style of training apart from other trainers.
Over the years, I have battled with my own journey to fitness from being obese to feeling crippled by anorexia and binge eating disorders. I have battled with chronic health issues of Hip Dysplasia, Endometriosis and Adenomyosis and my journey to getting/ staying fit certainly has not been linear with 9 surgeries, multiple injuries and relapses of ED along the way. I know what it is like to be a beginner as I have started my fitness journey from scratch time after time, as I struggled to find balance between “all or nothing”.
Over the years, I have battled with my own journey to fitness with fear of the gym, anorexia, binge eating, over training and have battled with chronic health issues of Hip Dysplasia, Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. In the last 10 years I have had 5 hip surgeries, 2 endo surgeries and recently a hysterectomy to cure my Adenomyosis, I have started my fitness journey from scratch time after time, so I know just what it is like to be a beginner or to have struggled to find balance with my health and fitness!
It took me many years to shift my mindset from exercising and dieting to be skinny to training and eating well to feel empowered, energised, sexy and happy – my mission is to uplift other women to do the same.

It wasn’t until I became pregnant with my daughter Rose in 2017 that I really found balance with my health and fitness and learnt to kick the negative impact of diet culture for good. I understand first-hand how difficult it can be look after yourself as a busy Mum, when you are driven in your career (or both) but also know the importance of healthy habits to keep me energised, productive and happy.
I am here to educate you how to get strong, work on your mental health and lose fat without fad diets, toxic food rules and extreme exercise regimes that only leave you feeling like you have failed when you couldn’t stick to them. When you learn to prioritise sustainable habits that last a lifetime you will finally get those results you are after and keep them long term!
